How Does Carbon Laser Facial Work?
Step 1: Application of Carbon Nano-Particles
The 45-minute treatment begins with a delicately applied face mask made of activated charcoal or carbon powder.
Step 2: Eliminate dirt and epidermal keratinocytes
The Spectra laser setting emits pulses of heat that penetrate the layers of the skin. The carbon in the laser absorbs this heat, which is then transferred to deeper levels of the skin. This breaks up and removes pigmentation from the body, while stimulating collagen production to reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
Step 3: Regeneration of skin cells
In the Q-switch mode, the laser then works to slightly exfoliate the skin. During the treatment, you will hear a soft snapping noise as the carbon is blasted away from the skin’s surface. You may notice a slight tingling sensation, which is completely normal. In this stage of the treatment, pores are unclogged, and excess sebum is removed.
Stage 4: Collagen and elastin production
